Growing Flowers : Tips for Indoor Plants

A likely cause of an unhappy plant is simply too much water. Droopy leaves and change in color can say no more water please.

Many plants do better to be a dry out, then be watered. A simple rule is one to two weeks and water so the pot plate shows a slight wetness, not dripping or flooded.
A plate or tray under the plant protects flooring and furniture.

Some plants need direct light, some need indirect light and some need full light. Always check when upon purchasing the plant.

Do use clean pots with new soil for a new plant, or for transplanting.
Use a plant spray for plant bugs or fungus. This really works.

And remember, a large plant placed in a corner of a room gives beauty, and healthier air in unused space while providing greenery and beauty.

The variety of plants for the home is endless and with a little help from above give endless pleasure.

Growing Flowers: Annual Flowers

Annuals do well with good soil and fertilization during planting. Follow directions for fertilizer as not to burn plant roots.

Always make sure the roots get water, so as a general rule, water well, and less often, but do not wet leaves, especially in the eve. If watered by sprinkler, then around noon is best so leaves can dry.

Always remove any weeds and mulch is great for keeping weeds out and can be used over the soil, or combined with the soil.
